The Economics Club at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is a student led organization which aims at fostering the aspirations of Economics, Finance and Business majors and promoting the field of social sciences. However, we welcome students of all disciplines to join our organization.
The group espouses high levels of Academic integrity and strives to promote sound business values and ethics in the future business leaders of America and the world.
This website aims to be a convenience site for the students currently attending the Bryan School of Business and Economics. By convenience site, we mean that this website is dedicated to the convenient organization of important information relevent to the student experience at UNCG.
The president must maintain a 3.0 GPA with a minimum enrollment of 12 semester hours. The president must also abide by the UNCG code of conduct policy. The president shall be responsible for the general running of the group along with attending and overseeing meetings.
The President Elect must maintain a 3.0 GPA with a minimum enrollment of 12 semester hours. The President Elect will be responsible for assuring that the group remains on task, and is accomplishing the semester goals. The duties of this position will effectively be that of vice president. The President Elect will then serve as President of the club in the following academic year. The office of president elect will ensure continuity of leadership through the transition of academic years.
The Marketing Officer must maintain a 2.75 GPA with a minimum enrollment of 12 semester hours. The Marketing Officer will be responsible for all marketing activities including: event planning, maintaining marketing materials for the club board (located on the first floor of the Bryan Building, and overseeing a marketing committee assigned to specific events.The officer will also be responsible for maintaining a digital presence for the club in order to promote events with the use of social media
The Campus Liaison must maintain a 2.75 GPA with a minimum enrollment of 12 semester hours. The Campus Liaison will be responsible for maintaining relations with the Campus Residence Office, and creating a student outreach plan for the club.
The Secretary must maintain a 2.75 GPA with a minimum enrollment of 12 semester hours. The Secretary will be responsible for taking meeting minutes, having an updated agenda, and taking meeting attendance. Also, the secretary will oversee the Economics Club email account.
The Treasurer must maintain a 2.75 GPA with a minimum enrollment of 12 semester hours. The Treasurer will be responsible for finances, arranging fundraising events, and organizing sponsorship.
